Amicable agreements

If the parties, with our guidance, can reach a financial agreement following mediation through solicitors by way of. - financial disclosure - a Consent Order can be drawn up which is forwarded to the court for the court's approval.

We always advise our clients that it is preferable not only emotionally but also financially if they can reach an agreement, as this provides them with certainty, i.e. they have come to the agreement themselves rather than a Judge making the decision on their behalf. In addition resolving the matters amicably can have a significant saving of legal costs.
